Reader Command

Allows you to control the data the PSK application receives. You can configure this command for the Configurable protocol.

You can set this command to run reader and configuration commands received by the PSK application or treat all data as data without checking for special command syntax. There are three options.

Disable
All data received by the PSK application is treated as data. The PSK application will not run commands sent or encoded in the data.

Enable with TMF
If the data is sent with the TMF (Terminal Message Format) header, the PSK application will check for and run reader and configuration commands received. With TMF, you can run reader and configuration commands or send and receive data about the current Intermec computer configuration. For information on TMF, see your Intermec computer user's manual.

Enable without TMF
The PSK application will check for and run all reader and configuration commands (for example, Receive File reader command or Beep Volume change configuration command).

Before you can enable Reader Command with or without TMF, you need to configure the EOM command.
