Specifies the subnet mask, an internal TCP/IP stack variable that is used to separate the subnetwork address from the local IP address. The TCP/IP stack performs a bit-wise AND on the IP address and the subnet mask. Each address segment represents one byte, where 255 converts to FF hex.
This computation is used to find out if the Intermec Application Server (UDP Plus) or host (TCP/IP) and Intermec computer are on different subnetworks. If the Intermec computer is on a different IP subnetwork, you must set the subnet mask and the default router.
The default setting for the Intermec computer is DHCP enabled. You will not be able to manually set the Primary DNS Server unless you disable DHCP.
