Use Intermec Settings on an Intermec Computer
The local version of Intermec Settings is available on your Intermec computer. You can find it by selecting:
- Start > Settings > System or Control Panel > Intermec Settings
Use Intermec Settings to easily configure your Intermec computer. Just make your changes in Intermec Settings and save them.
Tips
- Tap a menu once to expand it.
- Tap a field once to select it.
- Tap inside of a text field to be able to enter text into it.
- You can use the arrow keys to easily navigate through Intermec Settings. Use the up and down arrow keys to move up and down the menu tree. Use the right and left arrows to expand and collapse levels of the tree.
To save your changes (excludes CN50, CS40, 70 Series, CV31)
- From the Main Menu, select File > Save Settings.

- Tap Save (
) in the Intermec Settings Main Menu bar.
If you try to exit Intermec Settings without saving your changes, a message box appears asking if you want to save your configuration changes. Tap Yes.
To restore default settings (CK3, CK32, CK61, CN3, CN4, CV30)
- Select the level of the tree that you want to restore.
- Tap and hold the stylus on your selection. A list appears.
- Tap Restore Defaults. A dialog box appears asking if you want to restore defaults.
- Tap Yes.
To restore default settings (70 Series, CN50, CS40)
- Select the level in Intermec Settings that you want to restore.
- Tap the Menu button.
- Tap Restore Menu Defaults.
- When asked to verify you want to restore settings, tap Yes.
To restore all defaults
- From the Main Menu, select Edit > Restore All Defaults.
To restore all defaults (CK3, CK32, CK61, CN3, CN4, CV30, CV31)
- Tap the Menu button, select Restore All Defaults, and then tap Yes when asked to verify.
To hide a menu item
- Select the menu item that you want to hide.
- Tap and hold the stylus on your selection. A list appears.
- Tap Hide menu item. A dialog box appears asking if you want to hide the menu item.
- Tap Yes.
