Primary DNS

The IP address to which the Intermec computer sends Domain Name System (DNS) requests. DNS servers are used to associate IP addresses with machine names. You can use DNS with DHCP enabled or disabled. After you change this parameter, turn the Intermec computer off and then on for the change to take effect.

The default setting for the Intermec computer is DHCP enabled. You will not be able to manually set the Primary DNS Server unless you disable DHCP.
